Walls [ceilings] to be fitted with Vibrasto 55 acoustic cladding by Texaa
- A highly fire-resistant facing consisting of an Aeria Maille Ronde (330 g/m²) sound-transparent fabric that is run-resistant, antistatic and soil-resistant, laminated onto wadding
- RI sound-absorbing panels
- Tensioning battens made of fully recycled material
European Reaction to Fire classification
Facing: B-s1, d0
RI panel: A2-s1, d0
Absorption coefficient αw on concrete = 0.95
Certified EPD (EN 15804). Very low emissions of VOC and formaldehyde (A+)
Very slight impact on climate change: 8.1 kg CO2 eq /m²
Two thicknesses of 25‑mm RI absorber panels, 80% recycled materials
Width: 1,500 mm
Thickness: 55 mm
A choice of 30 colours in the Aeria Maille Ronde range. Special colours by request.
Join-to-join distance: 1,500 mm.
The joins between adjacent lengths are produced as pencil-line joins. The edges of the fabric facing are inserted into U-section battens fitted between the two lengths. For thicker assemblies, the battens can be mounted on shims, sized to suit the dimensions of the sound-absorbing material.
Inside corners are produced as pencil-line joins. A Texaa-supplied standoff batten can be used to produce outside corners.
L-section battens are fitted around the edges of the covered surface (or around the surrounds of openings). Battens fitted along visible edges are delivered already clad with a matching fabric.
Electrical fittings (plug sockets, switches etc.) are installed to stand proud of the surface depending on the thickness of the sound-absorbing material.
